Lelt Foundation works alongside families in Addis Ababa who are not looking for a handout — they are looking for a path out. Together with our community, we have built one of the most comprehensive, measurable, and accountable programs in the region.
Our mission
To break the cycle of poverty for families in Addis Ababa by addressing its root causes — hunger, lack of education, and economic insecurity — through integrated, locally-led, and rigorously measured programs.
We believe lasting change comes from treating families as partners, not recipients. Every program we run is designed alongside the community it serves, audited annually, and evolved based on outcomes.
